Video/song type?

Okay so I know this video isnt an AMV but i wanted other people's input on it, and if i should try and make amv's with that song type (pop i think?)...anyway, im not very good with effects and stuff like that when it comes to fast pop type songs, so any advice would be very helpful and appreciated thanks

Do you mean that type of song? The genre?
Well, I personally wouldn't edit songs like that (because I suck at it, ohohohoh), so my opinion may be a bit biased, especially since I don't listen to that genre much anyways. XD

I would say take a piece of the song that has beats and try to see how much you can work with. Basically do a test, to see if you can do it. Remember just have fun with it.

the genre. i tried to make other amvs before with pop songs but it never turns out right because im not good at choosing which effects should be put with the song, so then it just dont look right. i guess im asking more for help on adding effects in amvs....i dont think im explaining very well lol...i mean, in that video i only changed the color alot cause that was pretty much the only thing i could think of...i have more trouble with amvs than anything else lol...and i'll try the just beats test ^_^ thanks
