Wishes

This year for my contest, Wishes*, I'm asking for prizes from anyone who is willing to offer.
The prizes can be anything; Features, videos, backgrounds, icons, digital art, literature, ect. for first, second, and/or third place.
The only catch is that you can not be participating in the contest to offer any sort of prize. If you lose a round or drop out of the contest, you can then offer prizes, if you wish to.
The prizes can be changed, added, or dropped up until the final round, once the final round has commenced everything is cemented.

Any prizes are so appreciated.

*Wishes is an annual contest run by Yunarella. The contest revolves around Shakespeare and his work, and creating videos based from these. Unlike last time the work will not center wholly around the sonnets, the plays will also play a part. Hopefully, with enough participants, there will be a round devoted to the plays.

2010 Auditions

I'll offer a prize, wherever you need. I can make backgrounds mostly, or write a prize fanfic or something? I can also feature and all that sort of stuff - perhaps offer a guest appearance in a CDS MEP or something. (: Whatever you'd like me to do. Now that I'm thinking about it, I don't know I'll be very good in participating in your contest, but I'd love to help out, hahah.

My only catch it that I won't feature/make a background/fanfic of anything yaoi/yuri stuff like that. That's my rule.

You can really offer up whatever you want. As long as you can do it come about november/december time frame. You'll have to come up with your parameters based on what you will do, won't do, can, or can't do.
Guest appearances are always cool, and that's something that isn't in the prizes yet.
You can do multiple things for each place if you like, i have someone that's doing that, she's actually making backgrounds/icons and writing critiques and writing short stories for all the places. <3

Just make sure it's something you can realistically accomplish.

Yeah, I can make backgrounds/icons any time (can't say that my icon will be any good though, hahah). And then the next time that that CDS does an MEP once the contest finishes, then perhaps the second place winner? could participate.

That's the best I have to offer, hahah. (: It's about the only thing that I can 100% say will happen close to the end of the contest, since who knows how I can ever plan ahead because of my back, so I won't offer up any videos or stories for the time being.

@natasha - If you want to feature, tell me what place. 1st has a feature already(you can feature first place however.)

@Thaila - So, 2nd place is a guest appearance in a CDS collab? Then ... ?

I can feature second place also - I have something I do on tumblr/YouTube and stuff where I feature one editor for a couple months, and then whenever they upload something, I feature that as my video. For the couple months after the contest, they can be my featured editor.

Mkay so, 2nd place gets A feature and a guest spot in a CDS collab from Thaila. Right?

I've gone to a your channel Kitty, and I'm still confused about the contest.
Is the start of the contest aug. first?
Is it multifandom?
Can it be any play by shakespear, or are you going to have a rule about what the first round will be centered around?
Those are the main things I'm wondering about, that weren't really explained...

Well, I'm explaining everything when auditions come up. And Unless I get 50+ videos* I will not be judging your audition video. So, the auditions are more like sign ups then anything.
The auditions/sign ups open on the first, it is multi-fandom, and the round videos you make will have to be centered around Shakespeare, the audition video does not.
The rounds will change. The first round will be centered around sonnets, not plays. Hopefully the next round will be plays only. it will go on from there.
Again, everything will be explained in the audition video.

If I get 50+ auditions, I will end up judging, but I won't judge solely on the video entered, I'll go to everyone's channels and look at their recent videos, and decide on the 50 or so entering that way.
I really doubt I'll get 50 auditions though.

I'm not sure what I would do with the sonnets one. O_O; The plays are a little simpler. But there are just so many sonnets... Would we choose them ourselves?

No, you would not chose. I'll stick everyone in groups/pairs and assign sonnets that way.
