Way To Have Avi. Files On Sony Vegas

Following Requirements
Sony Vegas 7. [I Do Not Know If this Work In Previous Editions.]
Nic. Four Change http://www.mediafire.com/?nzzdztljznm
DIVX Player http://www.divx.com/en/win

1. Download Everything Above.
Divx Will Take Awhile. Downloading Everything Just In Case

2.When Everything Is Downloaded, Open Your Nic. Four C Changer.

3.Click Browse And Then Find the Avi. File You Want. [You Only Need To Do This Once]

4. Then Change the top Box To Xvid.
5. Change the Bottom Box To Divx.

Then Click Apply.
check your Sony Vegas And Upload A Avi File.

doesn't Vegas supposed to accept .avi files ?
couple of my friends have the same error too when they import .avi files to Vegas though .

I mean, mine works just fine without doing any of those :3

It's whether your computer accepts .avi files in your video editor. It's not about Vegas much at all.
Like, my laptop won't play .avi's, no matter what I download, and it's the same version of Vegas on my regular comp.
