What's up anime fans !
I wanted to ask about a program to make a good amv..I'm a novice,but i want to learn to make an AMV.Maybe i didnt post in the right tread,so excuse me =]

I just wanted some help to choose a proper program for making an Amv..

Windows Movie Maker is a good program for beginers, you can download it for free.
Sony Vegas is more for the advanced amv makers, so once you've learned all you can from Windows Movie Maker, you can switch over to Sony Vegas.

And actually, we don't just do anime here. We do game music videos too! ^___^
Anyway, Sony vegas is the best.
But if you try it out as a novice, you will probably throw your computer across the room. XD
Try Windows movie maker. (some windows programs actually come with it I think...)
It's very simple ^=^
(and if you need help downloading clips to edit with, there are people here who can help you! ^__^ )

If you need help that's what this forum's for. Check out my thread in the Editing Discussion and it'll give you a good idea at where to find clips and how to edit and such even though it's mainly used for Vegas. Have fun! Can't wait to see what comes from you =]

well, it's kinda late to say this but i got some work going on and some problems so i couldn't start to work on my amv editing skills...Im downloading movie maker and im hoping to get to the point i'll have to ask you guys for advice : )
so im working on it hope to surprise you with something good soon !! (and get some critics from you Razz )

Welcome to the editing world. (:

Windows Movie Maker is good for starting out, but you don't have to have it. I hardly used WMM and I think it might be easier to just adjust to Sony Vegas right from the start, since transitioning programs can be really hard.

If you ever need help or want to get involved in a project, we're always here!
