Temporary background and stuff.

I know, it's kinda hard on the eyes, it looks like you're on acid or something XD The background's only a test, I'm getting a general feel for what I have to do for a background. This is only temporary.

And to those of you who don't know, I've been hired to do the maintenance on this site. Sorta. Mostly graphics and whatnot. Sorry Thalia, needed something to do and decided to do this.

When I can figure out what we'll be doing with this site, I'll know exactly how to modify it :]

Ahhh, do whatever you want - it'll be better than what I could come up with, hahaha.
I just wish there was a way for me to whip something up on Photoshop and just upload it to "background", but apparently it's much more technical than that. XD

If you whip me up a background I can put it in, you just have to send it to me via email. I'm going to work on replacing it right now after I get to a few roleplay replies.

I was wondering this earlier - is there anyway to do the Print Screen thing, so that I know how much I can put on the sides and have it be visible or something? I don't have to put something on it and not have it be visible. x_x

The previous one was 400x400 and just continuously repeated. Mine I did it 1000x1000 and put it in the upper left and upper right corner. So if you want graphics to be in a certain spot, I'd do 1000x1000 and do the upper right and upper left corners, or just do what the previous person did and do it 400x400 and I'll make it repeat the image over and over.

AH COOL. Someone can actually change the background. Hahaha. I tried; I couldn't figure out how. But I'm glad we can without it being too complicated. xD

So, the current background is 1000x1000, with stuff in the upper right/left corners?
I will draft something up, and then email it to you and see if that's what you meant. Because I'm not entirely sure, hahah.

And are you able to figure out the headers and stuff? I know on I'm Vidding It! every time you reloaded the page, the header would change. Is that possible for us?

I'd have to look around somewhat but I think I can pull it off. i'll research and come back with information.

If you can get the the header to rotate though images, you should let people make their own banners, featuring their characters. Just an idea. I just need an excuse to use my new photoshop.

Yeah, that was the plan, Kitty. But apparently the forum doesn't allow rotated images or something, so I'm just working on an overall banner at the moment. If it does get figured out, then that's what we'll do.

One of my friends has a slideshow on her website, featuring different banners. I'm not sure how to do it though. If she's on I'll ask her.

I don't know if it's been tried, but I'd think you'd be able to use a random image generator. I know Tektek has one. But there are also rotating scripts and stuffs...

I don't know. We'll have to wait for Marc on that one, since I'm no techhie.

I don't see anything wierd Thalia. But, my computer is acting pretty strange all of a sudden. Every time I click on a post, it says "there was an error in the script", whatever that means...

Augh, everything is totally off-kilter for me and it's giving me whiplash. >>

I'm trying to figure it out and access the admin panel, but this, too is taking forever to load.
But I think that's just me, because I started having problems while messing around on my other forum, and I don't think that the problems just decided to follow me. XD

I'm still adjusting to the Administration panel, but the rotating scripts seem to be out of date also. I've been searching. I need some more time.

I think it was just my computer freaking out on me, because it fixed itself. (: But I'll let you know if something starts looking off again.

So I've looked, but I haven't yet found a way to make a rotating banner. I'll see what I can come up with still.
